My Review:
This clever novel is actually multiple short stories combined into one novel.  The book is about several characters and a big event that changes their life.  After the event occurs, the story moves on to another set of characters for another four chapters.  In the end, the characters all connected in a way that was unexpected and intriguing.

When I first started reading this book, I didn't really know what to expect.  I figured it was just going to be a bunch of characters who's lives cross in unexpected ways.  K.J.  took four dark stories and turned it into one amazing and intriguing novel that worked perfectly.   I really enjoyed reading each short story, learning just enough about the characters to know them and know how I felt about them, but not too much...then move on.  The overall plot was definitely twisted.  This book is not for the faint of heart or those who can't handle dark themes (drugs, murder, medical mysteries, creepy bikers, alcoholism, death in general).  I recommend this book for all of those mystery, murder mystery, medical thrillers, thrillers and dark fiction fans out there over the age of 16 (some mature content).  Outstanding set of stories K.J.!

Check out K.J.'s website here. You will find excerpts, places to buy the book and more on the site! Happy Reading!
